Annette McBrayer elected to the Georgia Association of Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition (GREFPAC) Board of Directors
Annette Kerlin McBrayer, of counsel in our Atlanta office, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association of Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition (GREFPAC) for a two-year term. The board is comprised of people representing the lending industry, title insurance companies, government/quasi government agencies, law firms, law enforcement and the consumer public.
GREFPAC was started in 2001 by concerned citizens who were aware of the personal financial damage to neighborhoods caused by mortgage fraud. From its humble beginnings around a kitchen table it has grown to an organization that is comprised of members from all facets of the real estate industry; local, regional and national law enforcement, government and quasi government agencies; as well as the consumer public. The organization is recognized as a national leader in the battle against mortgage fraud and is a model for other groups across the country. GREFPAC has been instrumental in creating the dynamic force to energize law enforcement and government to lead the charge against perpetrators of mortgage fraud in the state of Georgia.
