Coleman Talley LLP has sponsored a display of rare manuscripts at Valdosta State University. The wide-ranging compilation of books, documents, and scrolls-the oldest dating back to 1250-includes works by Machiavelli, Aristotle, John Locke, Thoreau, Booker T. Washington and Ben Franklin. The current collection is on loan from The Remnant Trust, a non-profit organization whose mission is to make rare documents, typically kept in locked archives, freely available to students, faculty and the general public. The display is located in the South Lobby of the Odom Library on the campus of Valdosta State University and will remain until July, 2015. Coleman Talley is pleased to be part of the effort that brought this collection to Valdosta.
