Greg Clark Assisted Valdosta State University's Small Business Development Center
In April, Attorney Gregory Q. Clark assisted Valdosta State University's Small Business Development Center (“SBDC”) in presenting a “Starting a Business” class to Moody Air Force Base. The class focused on Feasibility of the Business Idea; Preparing a Business Plan; Financing; and Operating Legally. Mr. Clark gave an overview of the various forms of business entities, and addressed the class on selecting the appropriate legal form of their new businesses. Mr. Clark is an active Professional Consultant with the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce and frequently advises prospective entrepreneurs on selecting the appropriate legal form for their business.
The SBDC is a public service unit that provides business and economic development assistance for Atkinson, Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Echols, Lanier, Lowndes, and Thomas Counties in South Central Georgia. As part of VSU's Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration, the SBDC is an essential resource for small businesses.
